Mental And Emotional Health Classes:
The Free Emotional Resilience course is designed to strengthen you and teach some basic skills for dealing with life’s challenges and disappointments. You’ll also learn from the experiences and help of other group members. Learn basic skills to help cope with anxiety, stress, depression and dealing with mental and emotional challenges.
Classroom Education
Take an in-person class at one of the Community Life Help locations with a small group, facilitated by a trained teacher.
Online Education
Take a live virtual-online course with a group, facilitated by a trained teacher.
Overview
The purpose of Emotional Resilience classes are to help you manage stress and anxiety, understand sadness and depression, overcome anger and addiction, build healthy relationships and move forward.
These groups offer a safe place for honest sharing as participants follow the principle of confidentiality and use uplifting language and behavior. With the support of group members, you’ll gain even more mental and emotional strength to navigate life’s challenges.

Simply follow the materials
Each chapter in the workbook has five parts:
Report: Discuss the progress you made during the week on your commitments
My Foundation: Review a principle that will lead to greater self-reliance
Learn: Learn practical skills that will lead to greater self-reliance
Ponder: Listen for inspiration on how to act on what you have learned
Commit: Promise to act on commitments during the week that will help you progress, and you will share what you learn from each group meeting with family or friends
The Power of working in our small group environment
With the help of others, you can accomplish great things. In our groups, we have action partners. Action partners help each other keep commitments by:
Calling, texting, or visiting each other during the week
Talking about what was learned in the group meeting
Encouraging each other to keep commitments
Counseling together about challenges
